I’m a Games Design student focussed on systems and level design. I’m studying at Manchester Metropolitan University in my third year, but about to graduate!
My specialism is in Unity2D but I have experience in Unreal Engine 5. My time at MMU has given me experience in Maya, Excel, Figma and Substance Painter. In my third year, I’ve discovered a love for pixel art and a love/hate relationship with Jira sprint planning.

An area I want to look into more is kit design in hero-based games. I think a lot can be learnt about developing interesting gameplay loops and game feel so the act of existing as a character is fun in it’s own right. Research for my dissertation has given me incredible insights into how players respond to usability and affordances.
On the side, I’m currently planning out my own TTRPG campaign using the CAIN game system and listening to The Magnus Archives for the first time. Some of my favourite video games are Overwatch, Deep Rock Galactic and Just Cause 3. My favourite board games are Spots, Love Letter and Lords of Waterdeep.
